Community Appreciation Event

October 9th | 5:00 – 7:00 PM

Join us for a fun-filled evening where you can meet our team of providers, tour our practice, enter a raffle, play games, attend a free behavioral health education session, enjoy refreshments, and learn more about our services! This free, family-friendly event is open to all.

We will also be collecting donations for Hurricane Helene Relief. Please see more details below.

Mini Health sessions include:

5:30 PM Crisis Management

Learn to recognize, respond, and recover from crisis situations effectively. Gain practical skills to stay calm and take control during emergencies.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Identify crisis signs early.
  • Use de-escalation techniques.
  • Create a crisis response plan.
  • Practice self-care strategies.

6:00 PM Stress Management

Discover effective strategies to reduce stress and build resilience. Perfect for managing daily challenges and improving overall well-being.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Understand stress and its effects.
  • Identify personal stressors.
  • Practice relaxation techniques.
  • Build a stress management plan.

 

Hurricane Helene Relief: Help Us Support Our Neighbors in Western North Carolina

Davidson Family Medicine is dedicated to assisting our neighbors in Western North Carolina as they recover from the lasting effects of Hurricane Helene. In preparation for the colder months ahead, we are collecting essential items to provide warmth and comfort to those impacted by the storm.

Donation Drop Off Information:

Items Needed:

  • Non-perishable items with tabs
  • Water
  • First-aid supplies
  • Chewable Benadryl
  • Pet food
  • Batteries
  • Winter jackets (all ages)
  • Tube socks (all ages)
  • Scarves
  • Blankets
  • Gloves (all ages)
  • Winter hats (all ages)
